Township Canada Mobile App Guide

Township Canada's mobile app offers a convenient way to access our platform's features while on the go. Whether you're looking for legal land descriptions or addresses, planning a site visit, or exploring a new area, our app provides a seamless experience tailored to your mobile device.

Available platforms

Android

The Township Canada Android app is available on the Google Play Store. Download and use it with a mobile subscription.

iOS

The Township Canada iOS app is available on the Apple App Store. Download and use it with a mobile subscription.

Availability

You do not need a Business plan to use the mobile app. Choose the option that fits your workflow:

• Standalone Mobile ($10/month) — Field-only app for iOS and Android. Works on its own; no web plan required.
• Pro + Mobile bundle ($25/month) — Full web Pro features plus the mobile field app. Saves $5/mo vs. buying Pro and Mobile separately.
• Business ($40/user/month) — Mobile app included at no extra cost, along with unlimited batch, all exports, and team management.

Using the mobile app

The Township Canada mobile app offers a user-friendly interface for field work.

Search for locations

Use the search bar at the top of the screen to find legal land descriptions, addresses, points of interest, or GPS coordinates. The app displays relevant results as you type. You can also tap anywhere on the map to get information about that location.

View maps

Explore Canadian survey grids on the map along with street maps and satellite imagery. Zoom in and out, pan across the map, and switch between different map layers.

Get directions

When you find a location you want to visit, tap the Directions button to get turn-by-turn navigation. The app enters navigation mode with:

• Step-by-step instructions on screen
• Voice guidance for hands-free navigation
• Real-time traffic conditions
• Optimal route calculation

The default starting point is your current location, but you can enter a different starting point if needed. Swap the start and destination to recalculate the route in reverse.

Managing your access

Manage mobile licenses from the Mobile page in your account. Business subscribers get the app included; Standalone Mobile and Pro + Mobile subscribers manage their license key there as well.

Troubleshooting

App won't activate

Ensure you're using the same email address associated with your Township Canada account. Check that your mobile subscription is active on the Mobile page.

Location not found

The mobile app uses the same search capabilities as the web app. If a location isn't found, verify the legal land description format is correct.

Navigation issues

Enable location permissions for the Township Canada app in your device settings. Ensure you have an active internet connection for real-time traffic and routing.
